Celtic Jewellery was traditionally worn by both men and women in the heyday of the celtic
civilisation.
Baku researched old Celtic Texts, hunted out museums, and studied the origins
of the celtic jewellery making traditions in order to create jewellery that
whilst faithful to the culture, cast a fresh look by using modern techniques
to produce this historical yet still attractive line.
Baku have made brooches, earrings, pendants, and hairclips that evoke the theme of the `Tree of Life' so important to the ancient Celts.
All these items are made of base metals, including a high proportion of tin,
which are cast, polished individually by hand before being plated in
Silver, Copper, or Gold.
