The Worshipful Company of Glovers of London (a Livery Company originally formed in 1349) runs annual competitions for
glove design, and for safety poster design (promoting the wearing of safety gloves). These competitions are open to
students at university, or at colleges of further education, and entries should be made through course tutors; the
closing date for the current competition is 28 March 2013. Cash prizes are awarded to winning students at a prizegiving
lunch in a City of London Livery hall in July each year.
