	The Gift of the Year Awards The Gift of the Year Awards are now officially open and companies wishing to enter should do so by 16 April. Brought to the industry by the GA and TPS, organisers of Spring Fair and Autumn Fair and many of the industry supporters, the Gift of the Year Awards are free to enter and suppliers may enter products in as many of the fourteen categories as appropriate. The awards are the industry award for excellence and reward good design, creativity and innovation. Last years competition attracted a record number of entries and many of last years winners, such as Arora Design went on to have enormous success with their winning entries. As Head of Projects and Operations, Wendy Webb explained: "The competition is an extremely effective way for suppliers to get their new ranges into the spotlight". “The awards seek to find the very best products that are innovative and imaginative, offer excellent value and have that exclusive ‘X factor’ that makes them stand out from the crowd”. The finalists will be invited together with representatives from throughout the trade to attend a black tie evening with champagne reception and four course dinner, entertainment and dancing at The Savoy Hotel on 24 June. New category sponsors this year include TH March, the GA’s Insurance Brokers and Tradeasi, a new online trading platform for the industry.
